Apponequet Regional High School
Mens and Womens Lacrosse Program(s)
In June of 2009 at the conclusion of the inaugural season for men's and women's lacrosse, Lakers Lacrosse officials met with Apponequet Regional HS' Principal, Athletic Director and coaches where they were told that the school will now formally administer the lacrosse program going forward as a Junior Varsity program.

The role of Lakers Lacrosse will be to continue to support ARHS' activities and lend assistance in fundraising if needed but, concentrate on becoming a feeder system of players who are ready to take on the challenges of high school lacrosse.

This news will allow the goals of the town program to shift toward developing players and coaches now that the goal of establishing lacrosse as a high school sport has been reached.
